Anyone ever heard of these? thinking about the 4.0 clutch on my 2.9 and rock auto carries them. I need to put in a rear main seal and clutch slave cylinder and figured I might as well upgrade while i'm in there

IIRC they're a well known and good brand. Buttttt, you can find the original LUK clutch that was installed in your truck from the factory on ebay for the same price, or cheaper.

Rear mains, get them from autozone or O'Reilly, there are two of them, one is the original type, the other has a sleeve you put on the crank if its worn or damaged at the seal surface, get both and return the one you dont need.

The slave is about $120 at your dealer for the OEM Ford part (it was for my 98, not sure how much for the 86). Considering there are a lot of problems with these, it might be wise to spend more on this then save $40 and have it leak sooner.

ya buy a new slave but use the one for ur truck it will work with the 4.0 clutch swape just fine. if you buy the one for a 4.0 ur pedal will be a hard little puppy to push
