hello there,
Awhile back when i first bought my truck the Ac didnt work and for whatever reason i said the hell with it and ripped the whole assembly out.
years later Im now regretting this decision.
What are your thoughts on retrofitting an Ac unit designed for an RV or a tractor trailer sleeper cab to be used in a standard cab ranger?
has anyone done this or something similar before? or maybe just using a plug in portable 12volt Ac unit? the truck cab is pressed for room as it is so maybe mounting a unit in the bed or the bed's tool box as long it gets enough air flow and running lines in through the rear of the cab..what do you think?...
basically a less trashy version of this

not sure on one for a semi, but most of the rv ones run on 120v ac. they need the generator to be running for them to work.
