My 04 ranger 4L starts good but runs rough. It died while taking a corner so I had it towed to my mechanic. He kept it over the weekend but couldn't find anything. The starter, alternator and battery are all good. He couldn't find the problem but it started up and I've been running it ever since. He thinks a wire was grounding out and he must have moved it when he was tracing the wires. Any ideas?

Out of fuel? that could cause it to die when you took corners fast?

Any weather condition when it died? Have you cleaned the MAF sensor recently?
