I pulled code 84 and 39 last night (maybe 34 and 89) I know one was EGR valve/tps, and the other said it was the exaust/clutch/or converter

So anyways, I got it running finally(put it back together and got the NSS working correctly) I tried revving it, and it goes to about 3-4k fine then even flooring it for a while it barely keeps up at the highest point it went to. If I start it and immediately rev it itll go higher (I didn't redline it don't worry) but shouldn't it be easy to getup high if I wanted/needed to ?

Possibly the torque converter needs tightening?

Not going to lie I haven't done the tune up yet since I just got the tranny going and the gas to stop leaking etc etc, still not smogged or registered. In my defense the plugs look fine, wires look new, dist. looks fine, I tested 90% of the wiring and no resistance in it. it idles around 900 -1.3k Ran injector cleaner, has 91 oct. in it. I notice it did run better with the 87 oct that was in it. But the gauge said 1/4 tank when it ran dry so I'm thinking it may have something to do with being ran dry?

Thanks for any help, need any more info let me know, also the codes are still confusing me, the code reader is very vague and gives me 2-3 different parts per code so I dont really know what to do with them at this point. I suppose start checking grounds at everything it mentions?

well...you're on the right track.
I'd really check over the vacuum lines very closely as well as the grounds.

OK...there is a solinoid to the EGR which helps the EGR to regulate, (right behind the throttle linkage), give it a closer look. also the egr itself can just not be fuctioning.

as far as the tranny thing....pretty sure there is a vacuum modulator on the tranny that maybe not fuctioning correctly...just tosing that out. not sure if that has anything to do with transmission Converter Clutch Override or not? Just make sure that fluid level is correct.

I noticed a small tranny leak that I can't locate quite yet.

I did the tune up, runs a bit better, Idles better for sure. Need to re-run the code reader to check everything again. Should get it done this weekend and I'll post back see if anythings changed.
