I have a 93 4.0 and a 92 explorer wiring harness and ecu. Will the 93 injectors work? Will the computer fire the coil solely off the crank sensor? Since the 92 had no cam sensor what do I do with mine? Leave it sitting there?

The cam sensor is a little more for fuel control than spark timing, and the answer is yes. As long as you're the 92 harness AND ecm, you will be fine. The only discrepancy being trying to usthe explorer harness in later model Rangers as the ecm is in a totally different location. I think it started with the 93 body style ranger, the 92 back was the same as first gen explorers I believe.
