What's going on everyone? First I would like to introduce myself. My name is Brent. Ive been a Ford enthusiast most of my life.
I recently just picked up a 1993 Ranger supercab 4.0 v6 manual, power everything with 70k miles with all service records. I bought it off an older gentlemen. Truck runs good and I'm happy on being apart of this forum.
Little history of the vehicles I have owned.
My first truck was a 1993 F150 supercab auto with a 5.0. 76k miles on the dash. A month later I had a local fab shop put on a stage 3 Camburg LT kit with 12" King coils and 2.5" King bumps. It was strapped at 18" of travel. Truck was a lot of fun but being young I drove the piss out of it and blew a head gasket and now it just sits.
Next car was a 2003 Ford SVT Focus. Picked it up with 45k miles on it. Drove it for 6 months and wrecked it in a canyon. Yes being young and dumb and having a lead foot wasn't the smartest thing.
After finally growing up and wasting a lot of money I bought a 2003 Ford F150, Supercab with the 4.6 V8. Picked it up with 97k on it. I still have it to this day. Its a family truck now between me my brother and my father. Truck runs perfect and has 170k original engine and trans.
Gave that to my dad a few years back and still borrow it now and again. After that I picked up a 2002 Ford SVT Focus with 76k on it. After a month of driving it the t-belt snapped due to marine who owned it prior. Ruined the head. Swapped it out with the 03 engine I had from the previous car and ran fine. I owned that car since 2011. Took very good care of it. Loved it actually but wanted a truck again. So when my brother turned 18 I gave it to him.
After all that ranting I own a prime 93 ranger. Sorry for the long post, I felt it was needed. I hope this forum is a lot better then the previous forums I.e Focus forums.
I guess my main goal for this truck is to keep it a reliable D.D. Within a week or two I plan on swapping out the front coils with f150 coils and upgrading to Bilstein shocks. Later down the road I plan on shipping the truck to Camburg to have my f150 beams out on with all the other goodies.
Thanks and hope to see everyone around...
