Hey everyone.I have a 2000 ranger 4x4 xlt.Bought the rugged ridge manual hubs for it two years ago.I used them a lot this winter/Nice weather now so I just went out to put them in the free position and one came off in my hand.Tried to put it back on but I cant.Dont have the installation papers anymore either.
Casn anyone tell me how to put it back on the axle?I can push it in but it wont stay there.Keeps wanting to pop back and I cant remember what I had to do when I first installed them.

Are all the little fingers on the rugged ridge hub clipping onto the grove in the hub on the truck? If those fingers are pryed out to far and not clipping onto the grove you can use a 1.75 to 2.75 inch hose clamp to hold it onto the grove like this.

Hey I tried to put it back on twice last night and it wouldnt click on.It was in the open position.I switched the hub to the lock position and pushed it in and it clicked.I drove the truck around with them locked in and got back and put them in the free position.Everythings fine again.Still dont know why it was loose in the first place.Glad I decided to unlock it last nit or it probably would havw fallen iff when I hit.
