I have been looking for a fix to this issue for quite some time and it seems like a lot of people have been experiencing my problem as well. My problem is that there is a grinding, humming, rubbing, many other ways to describe it noise coming from what sounds like my front driver side wheel. It starts grinding while driving at about 30mph and does it intermittently at completely random intervals of speeds above that. Quite perplexing. I have heard it can be anything from brake rotors (which its not) to spindle bearings. My front hub assemblies were replaced about 3 years ago so I'm wondering if it is more likely that it is the spindle bearings that are worn or the wheel bearings (which have not been replaced since I've owned the truck. The thing is I would like to get this figured out and fix it on the first shot so if anyone has had experience with this problem before please help. Thanks!
Oh and my truck is a 99 ranger 4x4 with stock PVH hubs (will be getting AVMs soon) if that helps.
