The original hose that runs from the valve cover to the throttle body on my '93 4cyl was leaking around the fittings.
First idea: buy a new hose. I couldn't find one and there isn't room to put straight hose in its place without kinking it. I considered putting a couple of feet of hose there and looping it around so it wouldn't kink but I figured there had to be a more aesthetically pleasing solution.
Second idea: I put some hose clamps on there. This did no good as the rubber was so dry that it didn't compress to be tight on the fittings.
Finally I went behind the counter at the local part house and perused the pre-bent hose section. I found that Dayco part number D86801 has a nice 90° and is the correct diameter to fit. It was too long but I was able to cut out the bend to fit just right.
I just thought I would share in case anybody needs this hose and cannot find it.

I found one in the junkyard but can't remember what it was from...I think it was a 90 something Ranger or Mustang.

This one actually is supposed to go to the air box below the filter and another line runs from the top of the filter to the TB and this allows the oil to drip into the air box (not the best solution) instead of going back into the TB...

I like this setup because it helps stop black smoke from the oil burning...but it only happens on baffed out engines suffering from blow-by.

On my 2.5 that hose was dry rotted, and it was hard to find. I found a piece of metal tubing in the garage from some other house project, which was the same diameter (lucky), and cut enough that already had a bend in it, and clamped hose on at both ends, and clamped to the orrifices on the motor-ALL GOOD!!!! The tubing actually butts up to the openings as its been a while since I put that on-no leaks (oil residue on the valve cover) or dry rot yet. I check that at every oil change. I,m going to note that part # for future reference-THANKS!!:icon_thumby:
