I just installed a body lift on my Ranger, I found it rode hard before but rides even harder now. Any suggestions on how to make it ride easier, such as new shocks, etc....
Thanks!

If you're currently running stock shocks, yes, better shocks will help. But I don't see how a body lift is affecting your ride quality so much. Your suspension is exactly the same as it was before the lift....

Are the new body bushing poly? If so that will make it feel rougher, but also new/better shocks will help.

Ok so shocks, anything else. Any recommendations on shocks, looking for something in the middle of the pack, not cheap but mid expensive and decent quality.

I've got bilsteins on my truck. Best shock's ever. They are quite pricey but the ride is amazing.

Did u put the body bushings in the truck afer the lift, or just the lift block and no bushing?

I got Grove Auto Off Road to install it, I didin't have enough time on my hands to install it myself, so I am assuming they did it properly, I am hoping they did it properly :S

Bilstein makes excellent shocks for sure. Another very good shock that's a little cheaper is KYB. I've had these on my Ranger for some years now and they've held up great.

If you want a decent ride for not a lot of money, get Monroe Sensa Tracs. I had them on my previous Sport Trac* and was very happy with them.

*Gen 1 Sport Tracs came from the factory with shocks so soft they should be considered unsafe.

they were unsafe in all the rollover testing Consumer Reports did. they were way worse than the much maligned Suzuki Samauri! unfortunately, they didn't get all the press that Suzuki did... maybe because they were made in the US. don't know.

wat size fox shocks should i run on my ranger ive got no lift right now only a bl to clear the 33s

Rancho's. I love 'em
