Recently redone the timing on my truck and replaced the camshaft sensor. Runs fine at first then Had a rough idle and drops down to 500-1000 rpm and eventually stalls out. Replaced the MAF and fuel pressure regulator and still same problem. Anything helps before i take to a shop.

Give it some time man, you'll get an answer that will sure beat the cost of a shop (who's work may or may not be any better than you would do in some time)

An '89 should have a MAP sensor not a MAF, unless maybe California model...

Was it doing this before the timing belt change? How long are you talking by the time it gets mad? like 5 minutes or like 30 seconds? How many miles? Any trouble codes (there's a way to check it by shorting a couple wires on the diagnostic connector and watching the check engine light flash, info somewhere in the tech library, maybe I'll look it up in the morning for ya)?

Was running fine till replacing it. And it’s usually around a minute before it drops to the rough idle, longer if its a cold. Itll crank right back up fine after shutting off and after a minute itll drop again.

New parts aren’t necessarily good parts. Keep troubleshooting but don’t discount the new parts in the process. They can be bad right out of the box.

Still no luck so far. Replaced parts again and still acting the same. Im lost at this point.
