I have a 1988 Ranger 2.3 4 cylinder. When I try to start it in the morning my truck is hard to start and when it does turn over the truck idles very rough and i have to keep my foot on the gas to keep it running and the tach is going all over the place. When the idle smoothes out after about 2 or 3 minutes it idles and runs fine. Has a new air idle control valve, TPS sensor, coolant temp sensor. New wires, plugs, rotor, cap. Usually starts fine after it is warm. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Also only idles bad, rough when the tack is jerking all over. Thanks

If this has a cold start sensor I'd suspect it is going out.
