I just replaced my timing belt and tensioner on my 2.3 and now it idles really rough. It drives fine and isn't a tooth off on the cam or crank. I have replaced fuel filter, spark plugs, wires, egr, PVC, all hoses, idle air control valve and air filter. I took into a shop and they said they could not find anything, and I should double check my timing. The only I can think of is the oil pump pulley could be one tooth off but that shouldn't matter right?

shouldn't matter on the oil pump. Does it actually die when idling or come close to it? If so, I'd say maybe a vacuum leak or hose left off...the PCV is on intake vacuum and if it is not completely sitting in the tube or the top valve is open it will cause idle issues...but it will also cause running issues (lack of power or lean condition).

With replacing wires, make sure the boot is sitting all the way on the plug tip...I've had new wires where the connector was too far into the boot and was not making contact with the plug tip...

It doesn't die, but comes close. I replaced PVC grommet, hose and valve. I also checked all plug wires. I read somewhere that the camshaft sensor is on the oil pump pulley, and it must be lined up correctly in order to run right. Does that sound right?

Hmmm...could be...wouldn't be the first time I was wrong...and I think I was wrong on this very issue recently...when I finish my 3.0 swap I'm going to need to know all the ins and outs of FI systems...
