I bought a 94’ Mazda B3000 with 49000 miles on it. An older gentleman owned it but passed away last year and his daughter was selling it. He took great care of it. I still had to flush the radiator, new radiator cap, new gas tank fill hose, air filter, oil change, and I am about to do a tune up(plugs, wires, coil, cap and rotor).
So at idle she is a little rough and durring driving it looses power(it is like a burp or it cuts out then pick right back up).

I am still doing the tune up because of the age. If I need to look somewhere else as well I will.

While doing the tuneup check for vacuum leaks. This can cause a rough idle as well and can't hurt to look while you are in there right?

I didn't think about that thanks for bringing it to my attention. I will post updates.

Cat converters go bad from sitting, even with low mileage, LOL thank goodness my old cars used off-the-shelf cat converters.

Hopefully this is not it but I will be looking at that if all else fails.

Off topic for this post anyway. Can you find headers for the 3.0L. I would like to upgrade the exhaust.

Just wondering. Where are you located in Mississippi. You can pm me if you don't want to make it public.

You know I didn't see where you changed the fuel filter yet. Could be the culprit.

Tune up fixed the issue. I also changed the transmission fluid to Royal Purple Synchromax.

Glad you got it fixed. I was pretty confident the tune up would help. I got sidetracked and forgot to mention that my plugs were so bad it would just shut off in the yard. Got some pics of the truck?

I will take some I haven’t yet. Been busy started a new job a month ago and have been really busy.
