Rollpan on flareside

anyone put a rollpan on their flareside?? i just looked behind me bumper and noticed 2 tabs where they seamt he box together and bolted....how do u work around this...is there a write up on here how to delete those bolting tabs behind the bumper?? THANKS!! anyone with pix??
 
yes i just did this mod to mine i will upload pics later this week. i cut off the tabs and made a 90 and riveted it in and then did a little body work
here it is on without cutting off the tabs

and you can sorta see where i cut off the tab in this pic but i will get a better one later

where did you get your tail light fillers??? please tell me they arent steel!?!
 
no they are not steel i made them out of fiberglass... actually in this pic that is just tape covering the hole to see how it would look but if you go into the "under construction" section and look up my thread that is following me and my caddies "caddies in a 93 stepside"
 
here is a pic of the bracket i made to shave the tab

i screwed it to the inside and riveted it to the bed side and then smoothed it with body filler"bondo"
