I am planning on putting a rollbar in my truck. Pics below show how the bar sits in the truck. Its a Grizzly bar custom fit. I cannot bring the bar up towards the cab any more. Does it look ok how it sits? The feet sit up on the wheel wells and if i bring the bar up close i will loose my rear mounting. Any opinions? I plan on mounting dual CB antennas between the bar and the bed so kinda fill in the gap.

i think that looks good there. you gonna throw some lights on

no light mounts on there so id have to fab something up. Do you think it looks alright mounted back like it is? Its the only way i can see it mounting up.

i think it look kinda goofy... i would just extend some plates and weld them to the exsisting mounts and move it forward... its not like it will effect safety or anything since its just a show bar...

yeah i kinda think the same thing. Idk why it doesnt fit my truck, its supposed to be custom fit but oh well i prolly will take it out and get a toolbox.

Ya i think bout taking mine out and getting a tool box all the time... the main reason i haven't is because my spare tire carrier attaches to it and i too lazy to fab up mounts for just the spare tire carrier

ya i plan on getting a Fabtech inbed tire carrier, my friend has it and its sweet.

It doesn't look terrible but I would try to come up with a way to move it ahead a little. I do like how it is angled with the back of the cab.

Watch drilling holes on the driver side, if not for my bodylift I would have put a hole in the filler neck rather than barely nick it. One of those things I didn't think about until after I did it.

ya well never touch a truck like yours..all plastic :thefinger:

i wanst bashing on your truck... just that rollbar. they are little out of date.

btw, i machined all the parts on my truck. SASed it and rebuilt the coil overs from the dead. built my rear bumper, regeared both axles and the only plastic on my truck that is left is the fron bumper that is being replaced with a winch bumper that im building and the honeycomb grille. and much more. anyway... u asked for opinions.

btw, are you sure thats not intended for a yota? the wheel wells are closer to the cab on the yotas.
