So, I had 32" TSL's. My local club requires that you have 35" rubber, so by a happenstance weekend I sold my 32"s and picked up some rubbed down med/poor condition 35" tires on the same day. I grooved the 35"s up, but I havn't had time/opportunity to put them on new rims yet. When I peeled off my 32"s and sold them I threw the stock rubber back on the stock rims, just so I'd have something to get around the yard with. Well, still havn't got those 35's on rims and the opportunity arose to go wheeling, after 3 days of rain.
Man'oh'man do AllTerrain's suck the big one.
We have had a all summer drought, so this creek was just a ditch, but the three previous days of rain made it to slippery for my racing slicks.

Then these tires showed that even small hills where to much for them, regardless of a full throttle 5.0L. (dont mind the smoke, my trans dipstick line is not 100% sealed and drips on the exhaust, it's all for show)

After we went throught the ditch there was some more fun trail, and logs to climb, but we ended up having to turn around, and go back throught the ditch, lol.

The Toyota did very well today, I am constantly prodding him to use more throttle and I thing it's beginning to sink in. He tried this hill 6 or so time at full throttle in first gear, but was spinning to much to break the top crest. In this vid he rolled it in second and didn't spin, that sealed the deal.

After he was up and out, I took a try. And FAILED.

more pics and vids coming, uploads are slow tonight

i absolutely loathed my BFG a/t's, im glad i got them on the cheap..

even with front and rear lockers, airred down, the a/t's got me stuck sooo many times.

I did the same thing last winter when i got my 87. I took the swampers off my 88 for it and threw on the stock tires. Needless to say i had to call the tractor in for backup. What is your plan for fitting 35's?

$270 for just the fronts, that hurt, I hope I dont wreck them on the first trip out!

Don't hold your breath bud, i lost my right front my first trip out with mine when I got them. :dntknw:
