yep, ive used them for a while when i was back home. Back like about 2-3 years ago when i had my bronco II and my other cars that came after it i had a great system worked out.

Ok, so advance auto at the time, said they would price match any price for a part if you could find it lower. including internet sites. So what would i do? go on rock auto, find the part i needed, print out the price of it listed BEFORE shipping and handling, and go to advance and pay that price for there parts which were already in stock. lmao. for instance, i payed 19.95 for a water pump on my old chevy s-10. less then twenty bucks!!! and i got it from advance that day, instead of ordering from rock auto and waiting plus paying the shipping.

however, on bigger parts like my clutch for the bronco, i just ordered from rock auto, seeing how advance wouldnt have it in stock anyway.

I dont think advance still does that price matching thing, but it worked great when they did! I also got the whole front set of brake pads for my toyota corolla for around 9 bucks lmfao.

I think a lot of people here and some of the other Ranger sites use and reccomend RockAuto. One of the sites used to have a discount number to use also.

if you Google "rock auto discount code" you can usually find a thread on a forum somewhere that has a valid code. The codes are good for saving 5%

Autolite sparkplugs for $0.80?? A brand new IAC valve for $30.49. Plug wires for $13.00?? I just thought some people here might need them. I've bought quite a bit of stuff from them and always had great service.

Just ordered starter brushes, alternator brushes, and a starter solenoid for my F150 yesterday. It came to $20.57. $7.73 of that was shipping. I priced just the solenoid at advance auto parts for $21 + tax. They don't stock the brushes at any of the stores near me and they always just try to sell me the whole unit when I try to get parts for them anyways. Rockauto doesn't question me.
