My credo
it is what it is
ive got a 96 ranger with 44/9" swap on 38s. after i get to going down the road ive got a lot of wheel hop. the rear drive shaft had been balanced apparently when i bought it. all thats in the back susp. is leaf packs and shocks no trac bars sway bars... could that be my issue when i drive it at hwy speeds? as far as the front end goes the sway bars there all steering components obviously or i wouldnt be turning, and the panhard. cant really tell where the hop is coming from but i can feel it everywhere inside the truck. the whole truck just seems to be jumping

Are the tires balanced? Have they been wearing correctly? For example are they cupping, wearing more on the inside or outside?
What are the exact speeds that it starts and stops?

You may simply need more/less air pressure, maybe your pinion angle is off? Slip joint(s)? Maybe early signs of a failing U-joint? Got any loose hardware (if it's still clean, maybe you should use a paint pen or torque sealant)? Bad shock?

Are your springs soft enough to let a heavy load, or lack of a load throw off your pinion angle? Do you have a locker?
