Ripped off

I'm gonna sticky this for now. Hope you get it all sorted out!

They deleted my post and all the replies. I cant post on there page anymore!!!

I guess if its not positive, they dont want it there.

I liked their page just to post this.We will see how long it takes to get deleted.
"I have always liked your products. But I can understand why you delete any posts that are not positive. When someone has a problem with a product why not step up and help them out?Instead of just deleting the post?I think you guys should stand up for the things you sell.I have bought a lot of stuff from you and i am watching this to see how you guys handle it."

good news guys...
here is a copy of the reply i just got to my email.
Ben,

Thank you for bringing up your concern. James (last name removed) had contacted us on Friday 3/4 concerning this issue. On Friday our director of operations let him know that we would handle the issue. We are sending the coil springs to AJ at no charge, sent overnight freight.

We have sold this kit this way for over 15 years and never had this issue. With that said to avoid any further confusion we have added a note to the website and are in the process of changing the instructions. We will also contact the dealer to info them that both part#s are need for a complete lift kit.

As far as the $100 fee, that is a not related to us. The dealer it was purchased from was wanting to charge that fee.

Tuff Country has been in business for nearly 25 years. We pride ourselves in great customer service and would never try to mislead anyone.

Thanks again for contacting us concerning this matter.

Thank you,

on their FB page (which i still can't post on lol) someone says that they don't think its TC's fault. well if TC made the webpage and bill of materials-- its their fault.. and if they have sold that kit for 15 years then no one paid attention to the bill of materials where they should not have had to buy coil springs separate.

well it even says in their reply to my email
"With that said to avoid any further confusion we have added a note to the website and are in the process of changing the instructions."

so they admitted they added the note..

Now that this is taken care of, anyone who "liked" Tuff country on FB, be sure to unlike them!

Im impressed. I am now so happy with you guys on TRS that im considering becoming a premium member now.

Words cant explain how happy i am. Thank you guys so much and for all your support!
Ill have pics up over spring of the lift if all u guys would like to look at it when its done.
THANKS AGAIN!

cool deal man! glad it worked out for you!!
i know if i was in your situation i would have been HOT

i think the whole situation is unprofessional. it's nice that they resolved your issue to your satisfaction. but it's pretty lame that he came on stating that there's some confusion from the dealer you got the kit from. considering the instructions, pictures, bill of sale ect all indicated that the coils are included. besides that, what good is a lift without coils???
i dunno. seems like TC won't fess up to ANY of the blame...i don't see how they can pin the blame on someone else...oh well, whatever.

At least we go some results!

Glad you're going to get those coils, as you should!

No problem buddy, TRS has got your back:icon_thumby:

Glad to hear it got sorted out, but imo its retarded to buy a kit with no springs or shocks. Hell it would almost be better topiece together a kit of ones own.

So the way they talk, everyone who's bought the tc kit has had to buy seperate coils. Sounds like everybody got took

O well, at least u got your kit that u payed for so I'm happy for u
