i just called a local dealer ship to get the coil brackets off a 91-f-150 for my ranger for the lift well the price they quoted was $75.00 for each side what the hell is wrong with these people does anyone know where i ca get cheaper???:icon_confused:So much for them being $15 each which was posted in the tech library...

huh, why do you need coil buckets for the lift on the ranger, do u just need new buckets because yours are rotted or what

Are your curremt buckets rusted out?

no i wanted the one off a 91 f-150 for the the lift they would give me lift for my ranger instead of buying coils and a lvling kit..

.....are you thinking of Coil Spacers maybe????????

sorry i am a little drunk but if you look in the tech library can replace your ranger coils bucket to f-150 to provide you with 1.5" of lift in your ranger !!!!

This is a coil bucket:

This is a coil spacer: (Which is what your're looking for, it goes beneath the coil to provide a small amount of lift, comprende?)

Or just make your own out of stacked washers welded together....mine have been in my truck for 5 years now.

1. It was only 5:15pm EST when you posted that....:shok:

2. You want coil SPACERS, not buckets. No wonder they're $75 ea. :icon_idea:

i was and still am drinking vodka in shots but i gave the dude the part number that where posted up in the tech library and he read them back to me and they where still $75.00 each!!
here the info i gave him

Ford used spring perches on the early 1990's F-150's that sat under the bottom of the coil spring. The part numbers are;

*

F2TZ-5A307-A
*

F2TZ-5A307-B

These cost me about $15 each at the local Ford dealer's parts counter.

That article is old and they did used to cost that.

Those do kind of work, but they give you a lot of height--like 3". Whatever their thickness is, multiply it by 1.5 to get an idea how how high your truck will sit. I tried them and couldn't align the front end, so bought a box of big washers. I still have those seats somewhere, I think. I may have given them to someone though. It's been a long time.

wtf why are you doing all this shit for coil spacers. get on summitracing.com and buy the right thing
