Hello everybody,

I'm new here.....I'm trying to get my truck to looks nicer I want to put new rims on it but don't know what to do...

Can i put 2009 STOCK LANCER GTS WHEELS on my 1999 ranger?

You have to glue a bunch of rice to the truck first.

You can put any wheels you want on it as long as the are at least 15" across and have a 5x4.5 lug pattern. I don't know the number and spacing on the pattern of lancer wheels.

+1. The spacing will determine whether the truck looks good or OMG WTH?

Lancer O.E. pattern is 5X114 mm. O.E. back spacing is 5.55 to 5.66. Now the big question. FWD wheels on a RWD truck..... Haven't seen it done.....

FWD rims are going to have totally wrong offset for a RWD vehicle. The bolt pattern may be the same, but there are going to be other issues.

FWD rims are going to set way too far in, and rub on hard suspension parts of your truck, assuming you can even get them seated on the hub flanges.

Hey, I just said he could put any wheels with the right bolt pattern on. I didn't say they'd be safe for right.

Frankly, I think the OP question is worth a week's timeout, kinda like that kid that got banned on his first post by asking about carbing a 4.0.

Those wheels wouldn't match up to a Ranger but they would look great on a 2008 Ford F350.

Find some old steel rims from an '80s ranger, blast them, and have them powder coated gloss black. They look great, are relatively inexpensive, and are OEM quality. :)

That's what I did for mine.
