Rim is completly stuck to hub. CAN NOT get it off.

Nohing like precision explosives:headbang:

Buy a couple (Okay maybe 5) cans of Liquid Wrench and soak that thing over the course of a a couple days taking a wire brush/cup to every crevise atleast once a day. Then hit the top and bottom a couple times from the outside after you spray each time, vibration helps the LW to work. Then on day 4/5 take a sledge and wail on the back of that rim considering it is garbage anyways that it's been torched, And I mean wail, go batsh*t crazy on this thing and release and anger you got inside:icon_hornsup:.

That outta do:D

part stores usually have rust eater in a spray can get pull the c clip pull the axle out and with someone holding the axle spray the drum really good all the way around knock the lugs out and the beat on the drum and rotate...get a new rim as well.

I have this same issue.
I was told to spray around the hub centric with PB Blaster or the like.
Then try a bottle jack sideways with a 2x4 on either side with their ends on the wheel as far inboard as possible.
Don't know when I'll get around to trying it thou.

The best(and cheapest) rust pentrater is a 50 50 mixture of ATF and acetone. Be careful acetone is very flamable. If you can't move the truck. Lossen the lug nuts. And lift or jackup up the truck and then drop it. Do it repeatedly and the thing will come lose

i use a chisel to take a tire that was stuck on by taken the chisel and putting it between the spokes and kept hitting it with a hammer and alternate position to not damage the rim!!! You put the chisel side ways in the spoke to act like a wedge against the rotor or the brake drum!!!

just and idea, you dont have the ebrake on do you? my old man called me up with the same problem and when i got there i noticed the ebrake was on. lol but if thats not the case the bigger the hammer the better! that sum bitch will come off of there!

BG Inforce is also a great spray lube/penetrator. I have used it many times along with a dead blow to get stuck rims and rotors off. The only problem with it is that BG products can be hard to come by in anything less than a by-the-case basis.

Since I read this on another thread I went out and bought some acetone and a oil can to mix the atf and acetone in.

I did this for when I was getting the 20 year old rusted in Canadian winter road abuse nuts off of the lower ball joints.

I let them sit a hour after applying and the ball joint nuts which you couldn't actually see from the rust on them came right off with a basic air impact gun.

But I am not sure if this will work in his case since I am thinking that hes dealing with the weld of aluminum and steel. not actually rust per say.

Well, maybe it will. While it's not standard oxygen corrosion (rust), it's still galvanic corrosion. It'd be worth giving it a try.

I still think pulling the nuts off and re-tightening them only hand tight and driving up and down the driveway would work best.

The best way is to just loosen the lugs and jack it up and drop it on the side with the frozen tire. The fall and angle will cause the tire to break loose at an angle, dropping straight down doesn't do shit half the time.

No pics ???
It would help us while drinking beer and typing...
If you can see the center, end, of the axle try this...
Get lots of pressure pulling or pushing the wheel out (off), maybe a high lift jack behind it pushing. (forget the torch idea, wheel is aluminum and disappates heat too easily)

Then, whack the center of the axle in with a BFH.
