ride height

For alignment purposes I need to know what the ride height should be on a 1988 4x4
regular cab longbed 2.9 cid, standard trans. I'm measurung from the bottom of the bumpstop
to the top of the beam and it's only 1 inch seems low to me. Looked in the tech library
can't seem to find the answer.
