Ride height '01 vs. '08

[2008Sport]

I have a 2001 4x4 Ranger which I love so much I went out and bought a 2008 to replace it. But once I saw them both in my driveway together, the 2008 looks like a 4x2 because it sits so low. The tire size explains .75 inches of difference, but there is a full 1.5 inch difference between the two in both the front and the back. Can someone tell me what changed that makes my 2008 ride so low? I know I can raise the front of my 2008 by adjusting the torsion bars, but I'd really like it to ride just like my 2001.

Great, while most truck companies are making their 4x4's (I.E. Toyota) sit higher, ford is making theirs sit lower.
