Rhino line wheels?

My wheels are stock and rusty nd look like shit. What do you guys think about Using some kind of an under coating or bed liner on the to make them look better? It would stand up to the wear and tear, right?

i dont see why it wouldnt work, it would probably throw the balancing to hell tho. also you wouldn't be able to paint the mounting surface or the stud holes.

My friend just picked up some rims that were rhino lined....they looked pretty cool.

My thoughts exactly. Just use the spray on truck bed coating, it's much lighter

It might be kinda cool. I would love to see the look on the guys face when GE finds out he gas to balance them though.

Well What about the undercoating stuff that come in a spray can type container? I was just going to do the front and back, not the surface the tire is on, obviously, and i'd leave room for the lead weights for balancing. I have access and the know-how to use a tire balancing machine for free, so that shouldn't be too big of a deal.

sounds great for the muddy rocky 4x4 i run into around here takes the paint off your wheels faster than a sandblaster.

Friend of mine works in a tire shop and has had a few guys over the years bring in bed lined wheels. They do not balance. He refuses to even try anymore.

Just clean them, and plasti dip them.

Airsoft BB's. I put 9oz in some junkyard 33's and they're perfect. I mounted mine with a $50 TSC manual tire changer after grinding (like with an angle grinder) a thick layer of rust off the rim lip to the dang things would seal.

You might need a little more than that, try like 12oz or something. Maybe more if you're running big tires?

Try to get the higher quality ones, 20g or more bb weight.

Also, rhino liner sucks and will chunk and come off.

Use line x or duplicolor bed armor if your cheap.

But honestly, don't.
Clean them, and plasti dip them. Or, get them powdercoated. Don't be a cheap bugger. Wheels with Bedliner look bad.

Airsoft BB's.

It's a lot easier to just use regular old steel or copper BB's, you don't have to use anywear near as many to get the same amount of weight.

Yeah. Its like tire sand. It does work, although I don't really understand how.

Not that I spent a lot of time looking into it.

The guys at the shops around here would jack it up around the bead. Apparently you have to tell them to be careful with your rims. They've messed the paint up on my pony rims.
