Ive tried searching on here and another forum and cant seem to find anything that can help me. the wiring on my ranger seems to be very cobbled together so normal troubleshooting wont work. is there a way i can wire a switch to the transfer case with my own wiring so that i can turn on 4x4 when i want to? or does anyone have a complete manual case close to burlington wi theyd be willin to sell?

you could wire your own switch to the control module, but you can't really go directly to the case. The case tells the module when it's reached the gear you've selected, so the module stops telling it to turn. Without the module, you'll have no way of telling what mode you're in, or if you're in between.

If you need it, I've got the dash buttons, module, and the complete harness that runs between them.
