I was starting to get tired of driving around in a truck with a faded spray bomb paint job so I decided to sand it away. Turns out theres some decent charcoal grey underneath so I am gonna wet sand it with 320, touch it up and clear coat it then do some bed liner along the bottom. Took me about 8 hours to do 1 side over 2 days but I dont think its going to be a waste of time.

The charcoal gray looks a lot better! Adding bed liner around the bottom will make it look awesome.

I agree with chad bedliner is a good idea.Wish I could do that too got serious paint problems.

What the hell? No primer? It doesnt look to bad under there!

i find it like finding hardwood maple floor under layers of carpet haha
good work though, it looks absolutely awesome!

That's like unwrapping a present. It looks a lot better underneath!

that's actually pretty dang awesome... looks great.. do some black on the bottom, it'll look awesome. dang, lucky guy you are lol

This is one rare occasion that you'd be happy for the previous owner doing a crap paint job. :D

thats nuts.... very funny. keep up the good work, it will be well worth your time and effort!

What bed liner are you going with? i recently got a spray in kit from NAPA and it looks AMAZING!

I think I will use Pro Form it comes in a can or roll on and is cheap, about $10 per can or $60 for a gallon.

Wow to think his idiot mind liking blue saved the original paint. Looks good. I got rust bubbles under my paint...

I don't think i'd have believed you if you hadn't posted pics. That's freaking awesome!
