So I have a set of 6" fogs under my rear bumper for my backup lights and I'm not a big fan of the location. Other than mounting them on a headache rack ( I don't have one)does any one have a better idea for a mounting location? Does any one have pics of fog lights on there bed rails?

Put them inside the bumper? On/above the axle. On the tailgate? Make an adapter for the tow hitch the sit on?

I saw a ranger a few weeks back that had these flush mounted into the tailgate, just above the bottom lip. looked pretty good actually...

In the rear bumper is good :), with some brush guards for looks

But also keep in mind that IF you ever need to back up a trailer at night it is nice to have help from the extra lights, so mount them as close to the edge of the vehicle as practical.

Now that being said what would really be cool would be to mount a set of popup headlights, one on each SIDE of the bed, so when you shift into reverse they "pop out" and light the way :)
Visit to the wrecking yard for a set of electric popups and some body work and paint

Haha pop up reverse lights would be awesome. You could make it look like a delorean with pop out head lights all over it

I use RokShots from High Beam Lighting.. Friends of mine in Middle TN. For $15 a pair, it's hard to beat. Sure they ain't as bright as a 6" Fog Light but... look how little room they take up!
