Is there an easy cheap way to remove the rev limiter? I cant stand this 3000 rpm limiter.

The 3000 limiter should only be there in Park and Neutral, so why does it matter?

that limiter is there to protect your engine. and like hahnsb2 said, its only when its in park or neutral. so why would you rev any hgiher than that. thats like asking for a thrown rod.

Well the actual rev limiter when driving for the SOHC 4.0 is up around 6k I think. No idea why they do the lower limit for neutral and park but I don't see the reason to remove it either..

my park/neutral limiter is no longer there after i put custom exhaust on. wasnt the orginal goal to remove, but hey what the hell dont use it anyways

man no disrespect, but wtf are you wanting to do? edline it in neutral and slam it into drive? cuz i cant tell you, brand new or 350k miles, within the first 3 times you do it that trans will explode. promise.
