my 94 3.0 is getting up there and feels kinda sluggish here lately. what i was wondering is with my motor having 188000 on it would that engine restorer or sea foam help me or turn and eat all the gaskets. also if it will help which one would be the best? im doing an oil change this weekend and i use motorcraft synthetic bend 10w-30 if that matters.

Sea Foam will help clean slude and gunk out of the engine. If you've always changed the oil regularly, you shouldn't have much gunk and it wouldn't do much. I have no experience with Restore so I can't really comment on that.

"KINDA SLUGGISH" What the hell does that mean".. If you have a problem fix THE PROBLEM.. Adding junk to the finest oil ever made is useless and only BAD things can happen.. or at best NOTHING will happen.

what im sayin is i know the trucks an automatic which is gonna not have all the power anyway but to me i would think it should feel like its got some power behind it so i wasnt sure if it was loosing compression or ifg it was sludged up. i mean i bout the truck with like 162000 in dec 2007 from a buddy of mine who put a new front end on it because it was basically a total.
