Hi all,

Took delivery of my brand new 2009 Ranger today!

First thing's first, installing my sony head-unit I had in my previous car.

I took out the radio, and noticed it had 2 plugs in the back.

If i'm not mistaking, the rectangular one is radio business (power, lighting, speakers, etc) and the more square one is Sirius (I traced the harness for this plug to the sirius box.)

Now, Assuming I don't really care for the sirius, I can just tuck the square (sirius) plug away and hook up my Sony HU with the rectangular plug (using a wiring harness adapter of course)

Is that what others have seen/done?

Seems obvious, just wanted to get the opinion of the collective...

Thanks!

Marc
