So, after replacing my TPS sensor the motor still has hesitation when depressing the accelerator pedal... I am now going to replace the fuel filter... I did a little research to familiarize myself with the procedure by watching a YT vidoe of someone doing this replacement... The only thing I see is to plug the fuel lines with something as soon as they are removed from the filter to stop the fuel flow... Here's the YT video:
Any advice welcome! Looks fairly straightforward... I will be raising the driver side where the filter is located and placing a jack-stand underneath before performing the operation... I wonder how easily the fuel lines will come off...?

Use a drain pan for sure. Be easy on the clips... they get brittle. Wouldn't be a bad idea to just buy new ones before you even start.

Pull the pump relay and start the engine till it stalls...that way you dont have fuel under pressure spraying around

A lot of new filters come with clips - wouldn't hurt to check the box before you pay for it.

Keep some rags under the truck with you to clean up spills and keep your face away from that general area when you pull the lines off.
