replacing dome light on 1998 ranger

Bought a 1995 explorer 3 bulb interior dome light from ebay installed it and wont work can anybody tell me which contact the green and orange wire goes to and where the black wire goes to there are three contacts have tried most of the day with no success, been thru the forums on different ford sites to no avail, bulbs are new fuse is good. thanx

You HAVE checked this forum? Because tech section has specific part for 2-3 bulb interior lights. I wish this was my prob I h e a hold in my roof. Can u just go take the explorer connections and splice? Prob easier unless someone answers for wire colors. Or just play connect a wire till it lights

I'd use a multimeter or continuity tester to see which one's are hot
