Replacing Body Mount, Question

Hello,
So my 90 Ranger's body mounts have disintegrated and are in need of replacing. I got a quote from Ford and well the cost is kinda outrages... 200-300 bucks for some rubber...

My question is anyone have experience or opinions on polyurethane body mounts such as:

or if you have other places you'd recommend please let me know.

I replaced the rubber body isolation mounts with polyurethane ones made by Daystar on my '90 Ranger. I might have bought them through Summit or Jegs, can't recall, it was a couple years ago. I think they're just fine and would do it again. I bought a whole body mount and chassis kit for a little over $100 if I remember correctly

as per the previous post I was checking out the other post on the topic and everyone is stating the hardware is not included... if this just means the bolts im fine, I bought a replacment set for my 3" body lift

does the kit you bought contain the metal inserts or whatever the other required hardware (except bolts)

99% of the time when people refer to "hardware" it's nuts and bolts, however i would not classify the "nut" on the body mounts, as hardware, as it's not a normal hardware store item...

i would imagine they would include the metal inserts, the picture/description should show the difference

and for the record, poly bushings are better (imo) than rubber

It read (12 BUSHINGS ONLY) it the OP link. So i would say that is all your going to get. No metal inserts or bolts and nuts.

So where do you get the steel inserts at?
I been wanting to swap out mine in the 94 Ex but only have found the poly bushings and maybe install a 3 inch body lift.

I've been running poly for almost a year now. The hardware was rotted, so all I did was use large fender washers on the outside of the bushings. Runs fine. It's a little rough cause they're poly.

Look into James Duff. That is where I got my Poly mounts for my 92. I had to make my own steel inserts with some galvanized pipe.

Ok just was on James Duff. Do they have body bushings for a 94 Explorer or will ones for the ranger or B2 work?
I suppose the count of bushings would be different than my Explorer.......

My Daystar kit included metal molded into the polyurethane bushings. My bottom retaining nuts were rotted so I replaced them with a grade 10.9 (probably higher grade than necessary but it's what the hardware store had for that size) nut welded to a fender washer to make a setup comparable to the stock setup.

The best I can tell you is call them. They will help you or atleast point you in the right direction. I called them when I did my 92 and they were very helpful and knowledgable too.

I got these from Auto zone and they come in red or black poly with the steel inserts already in them for like 65 dollars.
