puttin in a 4.0 in my 87 ranger what should i replace before i put it like time chain, oil pan gasket or what. just asking to save on doing it later thank u

Do anything that is a pain to do later...I did my oil pan gasket, timing cover gasket, and rear main seal. I do wish I had done the valve seals, because this engine needed it done and it would have been SOO much easier with the engine out.
