I was wondering if anyone has come across a site that sells replacement arm rests for the door panels of a 1989 Bronco II. Mine are very much worn out and I was hoping to just replace them with a bolt on application as oppose to having to rebuild and foam/upholster new ones.

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Can you get some pics of what we are talking about here. I'm not too familiar with the 89+ style, but I do have some 89 door panels that look like the rests are built in.

The 89 armrests do appear to be built in to the door panel but they actually bolt on from the back side of the door panel. Unfortunately I have removed mine already and they kind of fell apart when I did so. I will try to snap a shot of the remnants.

A used set would work for me as well as long as they are in decent shape.

I had that same issue. Made a set out of some old lumder. Liked it so much I did the dash and console to match. Check it out.

BIIHawg,
What color interior do you need? I have a couple red and black armrests for the gen 2 trucks.

Armrest/spare tire latch?

I just got an armrest for my door from allusedtruckparts.com. They have a bunch of parts for B2's, and getting the part was PAINLESS. If the website says they're out of stock, click on the "request to stock" button (or something like that), and there's a chance it may be in stock. That's what I did, and I got an an email the next day saying he had the armrest.

Now I just need to figure out how to install it - looks like I need new clips because the old ones ripped out with the handle...

Anyone know where I can get the "lift latch" to a spare tire carrier? Wish I knew how to weld...

Tw205, nice job with the woodwork. B2Hawg, if you can't find new arm rests, I know that BroncoGraveyard has some aftermarket door panels, if worse come to worst. I actually have a similar dilemma with the rear arm rests in my '90. Has anyone found a source for these? The plastic that helps mine keep their shape is warped and cracked as hell. I am thinking that I may just make new ones out of fiberglass and have them re-foamed and upholstered. Any thoughts on this?
Josh
