Still had the auto hubs on my 95 Ranger and finally got tired of not being able to depend on them. I replaced them with the Mile Marker manual hubs and conversion kit last week. I looked around the "Net" and from what I could find, the MM hubs were going to suit me just fine, not to mention I got a good deal on them from Summit. Picked the hubs up for $90 shipped, and got the conversion kit from Auto Zone for another $30. Doing the conversion was very easy, even for someone like me who has very limited knowledge of how to work on vehicles. Took me about 45 minutes start to finish. Took the truck out for a test, and everything worked beautifully!!! No clunking, grinding, clicking, or slipping. :yahoo:

Good to know. I swapped my autos for manuals on my First ranger as well and it was beautiful. I actually went one whole winter thinking I had 4wd when I didn't cause the autos were shot. part of the reason I went for a 2wd when i bought my '11 ranger. Don't really need it. Even though we just got like a foot of snow today.

Could u post the link for the summit hubs? I found em but their $150...Thanks for saying autozone was $30...just saved me $20

I bought them just after the Christmas/New Year's holiday when they were on sale. A member here, 2813Josh, posted up on the ebay/Craigslist forum a link to the Summit page that showed them on sale. I checked the link he posted, and it shows that they are not on sale any longer.

Post up in the wanted forum here. There's a member, I think AllanD, who sells Warns, used, for about $100. They're stronger than the MM's.

The "conversion" kit is just a a pair of spindle nuts and a lock washer. Need two sets, one per side. It is the same part number for D30's/GM10 bolt/D44's and are cheap and plentiful. One set is about $7...both sides can be had for about $20 shipped from most 4wd places online, most of the time cheaper with free shipping..P/N 28068X. They are not D35 specific. Just FYI

Yeah, I got the Mile Markers when they were on sale too. Work great!
