replace shocks

Hi.
i want to replace the front shocks but i don´t know what to buy
its 6 inch front suspension 4x4 1994, do you have any idea ?
i have procomp but the number its erased , i want to know the number item to avoid problem at purchase.

Probably easiest to take one of the originals with you. Or measure the extended and closed lengths, a good parts person can then find you the right shocks. You could do this shopping on the phone as long as you both know where the measurements are taken from. I was going to link to a shock file that I thought I had saved but it seems I lost it. In it there was definitions, terminology, and pictures of where measurements are taken from. You should be able to find the info on the net so the parts person knows where you are trying to measure.

I becomes a matter of what brand you want, I had Trailmaster SSV's and they were ok, but to street harsh for off road. Getting Bilstien 5100's.
