Bent the shift forks on my 93 3.0 4x4 ranger. I have 2 question. I see 3 bolts holding the t-case on, is that all there is or are there hidden bolts up top. Next question is how do i get the shifter off, There is a threaded stud and a nut on it, i took the nut off, and the shifter still won't come off.

There are 5 bolts holding the Tcase on. drop the tranny crossmember and let the whole thing hang down to make it easier to get to the other bolts.

for the shifter, take the nut that you removed and thread it on to the other side and use it to pull the bolt out. tighten it as far as you can and it should come out. If not, some help from a rubber mallet will help or a hammer with a block of wood as not to damage the threads.

There are 5 bolts on the t-case as mentioned, but there is also a locating dowel that likes to seaze up. It is towards the top between two of the bolts. FYI

Awesome, thanks for the quick responses. You guys are such big helps, maybe u can make it warm in Michigan.

What part of Michigan are you from? I was just up in Colon, MI a couple weeks ago.

Washington, about 30 miles north of Detroit. So you got hit with the worst of that last storm then?

Here in Columbus we got 20". More than enough to get up past your shoes and into your pants legs.

By the time I was done plowing on the ATV, both my pant legs were frozen solid.
