I recently picked up a '98 Ranger which appears to have a 3" body lift. I would like to remove the lift but haven't had ANY luck locating stock body mounts. All the sets I've found are up to the '97MY. I was considering the idea of trimming 2.5" or so off the current bushings; which will not only take longer but I will most likely have to get new hardware. I would gladly buy someones old take-offs but imagine most people would have trashed those parts. Any suggestions? Thanks, Sean.

Welcome to TRS.
u dont actually need new body mounts
the body lift blocks didnt replace any of the trucks oem parts. Since they just go on top of the oem mounts, and held in a sandwich between the body and body mounts.

u just need shorter bolts, remove the steering extension, shifter extension and remove the bumper relocating brackets

read this, it says what are the new bolt sizes on each section of the truck, so u just need to get them 3 inches shorter

That's exactly the info I need. Thank you! :headbang:

question for ya, what are you doing with the body lift once you take it off? feel like selling it?
