What type of tool would i use to remove my bed? lol, i know its a dumb question. would it be like a 5 star tip screwdriver? or is there somthing else i need? thanks

James

I got a set of 3/8 drive 5 star socket tips from Auto Zone for like $10.00. I bet you could get it cheaper at Harbor Freight.

T55 Torques bit socket preferably a 1/2" drive. Then either a flathead or phillips head screwdriver for the fuel filler neck, and a phillips head for the taillights.

that plus a can of wd40.... it will help alot when taking out the bolts holding the bed on. it was quite a tough job without it lol or u could use a good ole impact on it and spin them suckers out :icon_thumby:

EDIT: make sure u unplug and unclip the taillight wires from your bed and dont rip them out while taking it off

i took mine off the day b4 yesterday and i could get it off without using lube but it made it a heck of alot easier to do so

The best thing for loosing bolts, etc, is to squirt some brake fluid on them and let them sit overnite. My dad had his own garage for 40 yrs, and picked that up from him. Works great.
