been reading plenty of threads describing how to deal with the abs activating on dry surface under 8mph. one fix was to pull the abs fuse, BUT, anyone have their speedo stop working as well?:icon_confused:

truck: 99' xlt 4x4

note: i understand pulling the fuse is not a fix, but a workaround.

secret abs disable trick, 99-2000 model

while driving turn key on til brake light come, then wait a second and the abs light will turn on, (shouldnt try to start since its in D) and speedo will work

viola worked on my 2000 2.5l auto ranger

also heard it hit and miss, on my 2000 ranger when the abs sensor went out in rear axle the speedo quit, but ive heard some 98-00 the rear sensor dosent control the speedo
