I had previously posted about a few electrical issues I have, and I believe the reason is due to an alarm that was previously removed.
Background:
I left for vacation from work, and came back to find my battery dead. I found out that there was an alarm that was installed and partially un-installed which was tripped and running a relay to my lights. I had someone who was supposed to know about cars fix it for me -- which was removing the alarm control module so that I could charge the battery back up to get the truck running.
Problems:
I've got no brights (low beams work), no dome light (no burned fuses), no key-ignition/light chime and no horn. I've checked all the fuses, but they are all good. I'm pretty sure the lights are related to the alarm, but unsure about the rest. I'm wondering if I'm going to have to re-wire everything, or if it's possible to troubleshoot the connections? I have a vacuum and electrical manual on the way in the next couple of days...
Thanks in advance!!
