remove cab from frame

maybe instead of doing al this i could tip her up on her side and do it?

Why don't you actually pull it the semi right way and sawzall the floor out of the bronco. And you don't have to be a freaking caveman with everything ya know. If you take time to do it right instead of the easy way ALL the time people will respect your work alot more.

just my .02

sawzall the floor out? never heard/thought of that one...how much do you cut?

Probably start with hole a little bigger than the tranny and enlarge it as needed.

It would be way easier to just jack the thing up and take it out the right way though.

for all the work ur doing why not just pull the engine and tranny as a unit and disassemble reasemble outside of the truck? or drop the tranny the right way?

i cant drop the tranny the right way cause the only jack i have is one of those that comes with your spare tire that goes up like a scissor lift, and i knowi could jack it up then use more blocks but that would take ages, and its just not fun enough

How did you plan on removing the cab? :icon_confused: Not sure if you have enough tools to pull this one off regardless... IMO, save you money, buy a hoist, and pull the engine and trans as a unit. Be easier to get the drive shaft off.
