A search turned up lots of threads on add-on aux coolers, but no
external filters. Has anyone installed a Derale or B&M kit with the
spin-on filters? I'm wondering where to mount the filter head?

I just added a magnefine before my auxiliary cooler. I don't see any reason you couldn't add a spin-on filter setup. I think I was considering one of them but didn't want to have to mess with figuring out somewhere to mount the filter head.

You can mount it anywhere you can find room, really. I'm sure you could find a spot somewhere up behind the bumper.

Thanks for the reply, ghunt81. I considered a Magnefine. Since I have
a factory cooler already, it would be a super easy install.

How often do you change the Magnefine?
