Remembering...

If ya'll are in Ky I'm game.... but I'm not into wheeling aka beating up my truck. I would the 97 but it's a 2wd. and the 04.... honestly has perfect paint, interior and looks showroom new so no way!!!

But beer drinking, hot food, and good people are always on the menu.

That's a good area for a small group to hang out, wheel, eat, camp, etc...but you really need to go in a day or two in advance and cut down the growth in the trails so you know where they are.

My mother-in-law retired this year. It's possible I would have a couple days to do some lead work. Cutting trees in half and pushing them aside is no big deal.

All we need is a couple trucks. I would let people use mine if I brought it. Obviously 15 trucks is too much, but if people mostly come for the camping and drunken fist fights then a couple rigs with owners that don't have an emotional attachment (like me) are enough to let people entertain themselves in small groups. I'll put my tire chains on and my truck would drive all over that place even on 31s.

Just throwin it out there, I'd drive to southern washington or northern oregon for a Northwest TRS meet if we had regional runs... even if I'm stock on 31's, I'd run a trail till it got too bad then just bum a ride off another member for the rest on the trail :D

A stock 4x4 can go a lot of places. The main problem is body damage. If you can't stomach body damage then it really limits you. I think a stock 4x4 can make it through 90% of what Attica has to offer. But people show up and then lose a mirror hear and a reflector there and a bedside there and they are pissed off. They don't appreciate the value of a bankshot off the Rock of Gibrator and their girlfriend makes them go home and cancel their TRS account.

That's why I'm saying: a couple good trucks are all that are needed for a small event with a campsite attached. Even at Attica, which is a public park. I would let anyone drive my truck. For people with stock trucks it would show you what you get with both axles locked and a floppy suspension. Nobody is going to break anything I haven't broken. It's a good experience. Though obviously I have no immediate plans to go to Oregon.

I ain't afraid of no body damage :D as long as I keep my glass cuz it rains too much here.
So when we planning our regional run guys?

I believe the stockers did some absolutely amazing things as well, but I didn't hear of them. They were too modest. We did hear a rumor of Johnny O rescuing a brand new Jeep Rubicon from a mud hole, however.
When I went up the first hill leading the stocker group, two people following me turned around and went home. :icon_confused:
