I have a quick question for the Transmission Gurus out there.

I have several bottles of unopened Redline MT-90 manual transmission fluid sitting on a shelf and want to know if It is the proper viscosity for my 85 Ranger.

The truck is:

1985 Ranger 4x4, reg cab, long bed
2.8l
5-spd manual
approx 120k (rebuilt 22k ago, and tranny had 2-3 syncro replaced)

I used this fluid in my 96 Nissan 200sx two years ago and it made a HUGE difference in ease of shifting, esp when cold I would love to get the same benefit for my Ranger, just wanted to know if this stuff is thick enough, or too thick. The rating is SAE 75W90

Thanks in advance for any info
