I was given this truck over the summer, and I really haven't had any major issues with the truck at all until recently. Now, it seems like once I fix one thing, something else decides to fail.

I have recently changed my air cleaner, plugs, wires and PCV valve.

I have removed my IAC valve and cleaned a couple of times (2nd time, because my engine continues to idle high [2k+ rpm]).

I have a fuel filter laying on my bench, since I am having issues using the plastic fuel line tool that broke as soon as I put it on the fuel line.

Last night, my heater valve broke. I replaced the heater valve and one of the incoming hoses. On the way home from the parts store, my temp gauge started going through the roof - got it into a parking lot and had to park it. I guess I'll check my thermostat, before I try to pull my water pump - I don't know that any of the coolant is getting circulated - no heat coming into cabin when heater is turned on (blower working fine).

My manual transmission is starting to give me trouble - it is getting harder to shift out of gear and into the next gear. I have never had a hydraulic clutch, so I am at a loss. Once in gear, it seems to act fine. Clutch reservoir is full.

When this truck was given to me, the odometer has never worked. Evidently, it stopped working at just over 146k, so no telling how many actual miles are on the truck. Speedometer works fine.

Stock radio is bad - no audio.

All in all - I really like my truck. I like the smaller size, fuel economy and the ability to still haul my stuff. I just need to get it from "limping" to "purring". Any input is welcome!!

Thanks!
