Is Cloyes a good kit?
Thanks for sharing...
I've never really looked for hot rod 4.0L SOHC stuff before. I feel at 200 horse from a good running stocker... I'm pretty satisfied with performance.
Of course I like power... but at what price?
Yes, I bought the hydraulic tensioners a few months ago hoping they would help but they didn't. I heard they were good parts but I don't know about the timing chain kits.Their hydraulic tensioners are good and have a better warranty than Motorcraft. I don’t what else they make that applies to the SOHC since I haven’t had to change them yet.
X2. Were good parts last time I bought them. The Cloyes name has been around for at least 50 years that I know of. Good rep as long as they haven't been bought by venture capital.
